'Too late, you're calling out my name. Alive in memory I'll stay if you shun these waters where I lay.' It is no coincidence that the album opens with 'My Requiem', prophetic of Aleah's passing. Hour of the Nightingale is sorrowful and melancholic. Yet, there is a faint light in the dimness of the music ('Her voice reflects the colours of dawn').
